Atolye15's European Growth and the Road Ahead

From the early days of Atolye15, we’ve been actively collaborating with European partners. But after our first 10 years, we’ve completely shifted our focus to building stronger relationships with European clients and expanding globally. This mindset eventually brought us to Berlin, where we established Atolye15 GmbH a year ago. For us, this new office represents more than just a physical space; it stands as a testament to Atolye15’s commitment to expanding our global reach as a team and fostering meaningful connections with clients throughout Europe. 

Similarly, our recent team outing to Berlin was more than just an ordinary trip. It was yet another sign of our dedication to growing internationally. This shared experience brought our entire team closer, aligning all of us with the global mindset that now defines our company's vision. The trip served as a symbolic kickoff event, getting everyone on the same page, unified and excited for our goals. Because our presence in Berlin also opens up thrilling opportunities for our team, who will have the chance to work on diverse and challenging projects and collaborate with new teammates and clients across borders.

Our ultimate goal is to become a truly global company, with offices in Berlin, Amsterdam, and other top European tech hubs, employing international talents. In a few years, we envision ourselves as a company where location won’t matter – our teammates will have the freedom to work and live wherever they choose. They will have the opportunity to explore different cultures and lifestyles and experience life in different parts of the world. By giving our teammates greater flexibility and autonomy over their lives, we want to help them grow and develop both personally and professionally, while also creating a more diverse and inclusive work environment.

Now, we strive to expand this community and create a global network that extends beyond borders and stretches across different countries. We want to tap into a wider pool of international talent and create a melting pot of ideas, leading to even better solutions for our partners.

“So, why Berlin?” you may ask. Simple – it's the startup capital of Europe, and we are deeply embedded in this ecosystem. Coming from this ecosystem ourselves, we've worked with more than 200 startups, gaining most of our invaluable experience both technically and in business. So, our passion for startups and global projects led us to Berlin, where we already have a solid client base. But we also chose Berlin to revolutionize the startup community and software development industry in Germany and throughout all of Europe. With our team’s energetic and dynamic spirit, which you may have already seen in our videos, we aim to bring a breath of fresh air to this ecosystem.

However, to achieve our ambitious goals and fully execute our vision for the future, we also recognize the importance of working with large enterprises in Germany and across Europe in addition to startups. Over the years, our experience working with both has shown us that there is often a divide between the two worlds. While startups tend to be quick, flexible, and unafraid to take risks, enterprises can be bogged down by bureaucracy and slow decision-making processes. But with our startup mindset and agile approach, we’re going to shake things up in the industry and inject a fresh perspective into the formal, structured, and rigid world of large enterprises. By leveraging our expertise, we will help them take on new challenges, streamline their processes, and adapt to changing industry conditions.

Ultimately, our goal is not just to work with large enterprises for financial gain, but to create something bigger than ourselves. By combining the best of both worlds, we believe that we can make a real difference and bring about meaningful change for everyone involved. 

With our sights now set on large enterprises, we’re currently on the lookout for an awesome Business Development Manager based in Berlin or a nearby city to represent us in Europe and network with global clients. This new teammate of ours will play a crucial role in helping us establish connections with potential  partners, allowing us to keep growing and expanding our international presence.

Looking back at our journey, we're incredibly grateful for the hard work and dedication of over 150 amazing individuals who've been part of Atolye15 in the last 14 years. With your support, our company has evolved into one big family, where everyone's contributions are valued and appreciated. Today, we are extremely proud to stand before you as Atolye15 GmbH, no longer confined to one single office or one country.
