We approached the project by first creating space to understand what the mobile product needed before development began. In Sprint Zero, we reviewed Kolay İK’s existing design system, UI assets, and API structure to evaluate how well they could support a fast but reliable mobile release. The main building blocks were already in place, but not everything was fully ready for a mobile-first experience.
Some parts of the design system needed to be refined for mobile interaction patterns, while certain API endpoints required adjustments to better support the logic, flows, and pace of mobile usage. Addressing these details early helped us reduce friction in later stages and gave the project a clearer technical direction.
Once that groundwork was in place, we moved into two-week agile sprints and started building the application module by module. Our role was not to rethink the product from scratch, but to translate an existing platform into a mobile experience that felt natural, lightweight, and production-ready. We built the application with React Native, which allowed us to develop for both iOS and Android from a shared codebase while keeping the experience consistent across platforms and the development process efficient within a tight timeline.

To support reliability and long-term usability, we complemented the build with several technologies that strengthened the product from different angles. Detox was used for automated end-to-end testing, helping us validate critical user flows and reduce the risk of production issues.
Firebase supported the mobile infrastructure and provided essential services for the application environment. OneSignal was integrated for push notification delivery and management. We also implemented core capabilities such as deep linking and analytics tracking as part of the overall architecture. Finally, Mixpanel was integrated to help Kolay İK monitor user behavior, measure performance, and gain visibility into how the mobile application would be used after launch.
Rather than treating the project as a one-off delivery, we focused on building a first version that Kolay İK’s team could confidently take forward. That approach allowed us to move quickly under pressure while still creating a mobile product with the technical structure, visibility, and flexibility needed for what came next.
