As Atolye15, we're passionate about discovering exceptional talents within our ecosystem and providing them with new opportunities to further their capabilities. With this vision in mind, we recently organized our second Coding Challenge in Ankara, held at Walkers Tunalı. After the Coding Challenge İzmir, this time, we were keen to explore our community outside of İzmir and provide a platform for them to showcase their skills.
After we received hundreds of applications from all over Turkey, we carefully chose around 30 participants to take part in the challenge. The event kicked off with a delicious breakfast, followed by an inspiring networking session where we shared our enthusiasm for the craft of development. Our team then gave a presentation outlining the steps involved in the challenge, and the participants dove straight into the task at hand.
Throughout the two-day challenge, participants tried to create a production-ready product using TypeScript and GraphQL and our mentors provided unwavering support, never leaving their side in case they required assistance. At the end of the challenge, we conducted a thorough code review, providing each participant with valuable line-by-line feedback to help them grow and improve their skills. Together, we had lengthy discussions about the mistakes made during the challenge, brainstorming possible solutions and sharing our expertise.
We then announced the winner of the challenge, who will have the opportunity to join the winner of our previous Coding Challenge in İzmir at Europe's biggest JavaScript conference, JsNation, in Amsterdam. We're thrilled to provide our participants with such an incredible opportunity to learn and network with like-minded developers from all over the world.
